Medicalternative was set up in 2003 by three experienced NHS GP's who wanted to offer an alternative to NHS GP services. The Practice has developed over the years so that we now provide all aspects of medical care from private GP services to non surgical cosmetic treatments for those patients who are concerned about their appearance.  We also offer sexual health consultancy for people who have been at risk from sexually transmitted infections or who have difficulties in their sexual relationships.  Additonally we have a range of complementary therapies for those who feel that conventional medicine doesn't meet all their medical needs.

This allows a choice of health care tailored to your needs and ensures flexibility in approach to many medical conditions.

Patients may attend Medicalternative on an ad-hoc basis, both for complementary and traditional care. We provide medicals to cover a variety of needs. With luxurious facilities in a peaceful and tranquil setting in Edinburgh's west end, you can be sure of the best healthcare.
