IPL™ is most effective on actively growing hair and the results are obvious from the first treatment. However, as hair grows at different rates, follow up treatments are necessary to get the full benefits of the system.
The IPL™ system can stop the growth of unwanted hair in the following areas:

- Underarm
- Bikini Line
- Legs
- Chest
- Back
IPL™ has been shown to effectively treat all skin types, including Hispanic and Asian. Individuals with blonde or grey hair may find this form of photoepilation to be only partially effective. This is because their hair has little or no pigmentation to absorb the light.

How it works
Prior to your treatment we recommend you book an initial 15-minute consultation with our nurse. She will discuss your needs and answer any questions.
- Small areas, such as the underarms or upper lip, can be treated in 10 minutes or less
- Even large areas, like the back or legs, can be treated in under half an hour
- The treatment is comfortable as various cooling methods keep the light pulses mild and skin-safe. It is more comfortable than electrolysis and waxing
The treated hair will continue to appear for 7-30 days after your treatment. This is not new hair growth, it is the treated hair being expelled.

Costs will depend on your specific requirements. This will be discussed at your initial consultation.(Ask about our savings plan)
