It is estimated that about 1% of the population suffer from the embarrassing condition of Hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating. Genetics are considered a contributing factor as half of the sufferers have a relative with the same problem. Identified triggers include exercise, alcohol, caffeine, smoking, stress and anxiety.
