From City Centre – By Foot

From Charlotte Square follow Queensferry Road signposted A90 Forth Road Bridge. After the sharp right hand bend at Ryan's Bar go straight through three sets of traffic lights. Immediately after the third set take the Left onto Belford Road just before Dean Bridge. Continue along Belford Road taking Right at the Post Box onto Hawthornbank Lane. At the bottom of the hill you will come to a river bank (The Water of Leith) and Medicalternative is the double brown doors on the corner, number 19.

By Train (Departing Haymarket Station)

Depart the train at Edinburgh Haymarket. As you exit the station cross the road and head towards the City Centre. Walk straight passed the first set of traffic lights at the second set turn left into Palmerston Place (Starbucks on the corner). Continue along Palmerston Place passing the Cathedral on your right and straight through both sets of traffic lights. When the road veers to the left on the downhill, turn Right onto Belford Road. Take the second left at the Post Box into Hawthornbank Lane. Walk down the hill and you will come to a river bank (The Water of Leith) and Medicalternative is the double brown doors on the corner, number 19.

From the West/Falkirk/Stirling M9 East Bound

Follow signs for Edinburgh Airport (A8). Pick up signs for City Centre. From the Maybury intersection on the West of the city continue on the main road through Corstorphine towards the City Centre. Continue straight through the roundabout at MacDonalds and multiple sets of Traffic Lights. Continue until you pass Haymarket Railway Station on your right. Keep in the left hand lane and go straight ahead at the set of traffic lights (there's a clock in the middle of the junction) and take Left into Palmerston Place (Starbucks on the corner) Continue along Palmerston Place passing the Cathedral on your right and straight through both sets of traffic lights. When the road veers to the left on the downhill, turn Right onto Belford Road. Take the second left at the Post Box into Hawthornbank Lane. The parking spaces for Medicalternative are in front of the first tall building on your right as you go down Hawthornbank Lane - there are small signs in each parking bay.

From the Maybury intersection on the West of the city continue on the main road through Corstorphine towards the City Centre. From East/Mid Lothian

Exit A1 bypass at Old Craighall Junction. At second roundabout take left onto Milton Road. Continue to the end of Willowbrae Road until traffic lights at Jocks Lodge (approximately 2 miles). Turn left at lights and continue along London Road (past Meadowbank Stadium on right). Stay in the right hand lane to roundabout at top of Leith Walk. Take 1st exit. At next roundabout take 2nd exit. Continue all the way along Queen Street onto St Combs Street (cobbles). Follow the crescent round to the left (staying in left hand lane). At traffic lights turn right (staying in left hand lane). Take left at lights, follow road to the end. At lights turn right onto Palmerston Place. Continue along Palmerston Place passing the Cathedral on your right and straight through both sets of traffic lights. When the road veers to the left on the downhill, turn Right onto Belford Road.
